Il peut \u00eatre con\u00e7u pour d\u00e9tecter les probl\u00e8mes \u00e0 un stade pr\u00e9coce, ce qui permet de mettre en \u0153uvre des mesures pr\u00e9ventives ou des solutions rentables. De plus, en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la demande croissante de logements, la construction s'industrialise de plus en plus pour livrer des logements plus rapidement. Les programmes de surveillance des b\u00e2timents sont des outils pour renforcer la confiance dans ces m\u00e9thodes de construction modernes et pour encourager le soutien aux initiatives de logement par les organismes publics. Cet atelier pr\u00e9sentera les plateformes de surveillance avanc\u00e9es d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es dans diff\u00e9rents pays pour assurer un acc\u00e8s fiable et facile aux donn\u00e9es. \u00c0 l'aide d'\u00e9tudes de cas d\u00e9taill\u00e9es, l'atelier d\u00e9montrera \u00e9galement comment la surveillance peut faciliter les discussions sur l'assurance dans le domaine de la construction en bois. With over a decade of academic and industry experience, she helps drive innovation in wood construction systems to support building decarbonization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.5\">Ing\u00e9nieure du bois de formation et titulaire d'une ma\u00eetrise, Cassandra poursuit actuellement un doctorat en g\u00e9nie du bois et des mat\u00e9riaux biosourc\u00e9s \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 Laval. Ses recherches portent sur les performances hygrothermiques des enveloppes de b\u00e2timents biosourc\u00e9es, combinant la mod\u00e9lisation par \u00e9l\u00e9ments finis et la surveillance par capteurs in situ pour suivre l'humidit\u00e9 dans les structures en bois et r\u00e9duire les risques li\u00e9s \u00e0 la durabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.5\">Son travail fait le pont entre l'innovation et la pratique, en mettant l'accent sur l'optimisation des produits et des syst\u00e8mes en bois pour la construction industrialis\u00e9e. Elle contribue \u00e9galement \u00e0 l'\u00e9laboration de normes nationales en tant que membre du comit\u00e9 technique CSA A170 sur la construction modulaire volum\u00e9trique. Il a ensuite rejoint le Minist\u00e8re de la Transition \u00e9cologique et de la Coh\u00e9sion des territoires o\u00f9 il \u00e9tait adjoint au chef de bureau au Bureau des acteurs, produits et innovation en construction. Depuis 2019, il a rejoint l\u2019AQC (Agence Qualit\u00e9 Construction) o\u00f9 il est chef de projet pour accompagner certains ma\u00eetres d\u2019ouvrage comme SOLIDEO dans la ma\u00eetrise de l\u2019innovation, notamment dans le domaine de la construction biosourc\u00e9e. Mes missions incluaient l\u2019assistance technique aux concepteurs, l\u2019\u00e9valuation des composants et fixations pour la construction bois, les formations pour les ing\u00e9nieurs en structure de bois et les normalisations europ\u00e9ennes et fran\u00e7aises comme l\u2019Eurocode 5 et 8. Il a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 11 brevets dans le domaine de; Syst\u00e8mes hybrides d'acquisition de donn\u00e9es filaires\/sans fil, solutions de d\u00e9tection de fuites pour les terrasses de places invers\u00e9es et pour la d\u00e9tection de l'humidit\u00e9 dans les structures conventionnelles de toiture et de bois massif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.5\">SMT a install\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes dans la tombe de J\u00e9sus en Isra\u00ebl, des ch\u00e2teaux historiques en Slov\u00e9nie, le centre de congr\u00e8s de Manhattan \u2013 le Javits Center, des ponts couverts de l'Iowa, des \u00e9coles en Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande et des b\u00e2timents en bois massif en Australie. La technologie SMT est utilis\u00e9e dans tous les \u00c9tats des \u00c9tats-Unis et sur six des sept continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.5\">\u00c0 l'\u00e9chelle locale, l'\u00e9quipe de SMT participe \u00e0 de nombreux \u00ab projets phares \u00bb de Vancouver \u2013 des projets r\u00e9cents incluent le Mus\u00e9e d'anthropologie de l'Universit\u00e9 de la Colombie-Britannique, la Vancouver House, The Post et un toit vert de 9,5 acres sur le parc Oakridge (r\u00e9am\u00e9nagement du centre commercial).
