In collaboration with FPInnovations, AcoustiTECH conducted an extensive comparative acoustic study of over 40 floor/ceiling assemblies with a mass timber GLT slab (157mm). This brief introduction will explore the real-world performance of various acoustic solutions highlighting tested assemblies, results, and strategic considerations such as cost, weight, thickness, and floor finish compatibility.
