Woodrise 2025 Media Participation Guidelines
We are pleased to welcome accredited media to Woodrise 2025 in Vancouver. This international congress brings together leaders in sustainable wood construction, forest innovation and the built environment—and we appreciate the role media play in sharing ideas and insights from the event.
To help ensure a smooth experience for all, we ask that media participants follow these simple guidelines.
Identification & Access
- Please wear your media badge at all times while on site.
- Some areas—such as backstage zones, speaker prep areas or private meetings—may be off-limits. Please check with staff before entering restricted spaces.
Photography, Filming & Recording
- Photos and short video clips are welcome in public sessions unless signage indicates otherwise.
- For longer recordings, interviews or livestreaming, please check in with the media desk in advance.
- If you’re covering a tour or exhibitor showcase, please confirm photography is permitted—some may have restrictions due to proprietary technology or site safety.
Interviews
Many speakers and exhibitors are happy to speak with media, but we ask that you make interview requests through the media desk so we can help coordinate timing and permissions.
Respectful Conduct
- Please be respectful of speakers, delegates and event staff. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in credentials being revoked.
- Safety protocols (including PPE requirements if relevant) must be followed during any site tours or demos.
