Jean-François started his career in the Pulp & Paper industry leading on operational roles as process and environmental engineer. He then joined Environment and Climate Change Canada where he led on numerous aspects of environmental regulatory regimes applicable to Canada’s forest sector. With Natural Resources Canada, he has been leading domestic forest industry funding programs supporting strategic R&D, innovation and industrial capital investments and advanced wood construction demonstration projects that accelerate the transformation and diversification of the Canadian forest products industry.
